I’ve been watching the Netflix series “Street Food” and it put me in the mood for some street food. I cooked up some pad thai with shrimp for me and tofu for the wife and kids.

I need a wok.

Fried eggs full of seasoning, done up in a cast iron pan. Assorted veggies, garlic sweet potato fries.

Nice. My chickens have been laying eggs like crazy, but my wife has weird thing where she can’t eat eggs once it gets hot out. I’ve been cooking up French style scrambled eggs and breakfast burritos for the kiddos for breakfast.

The plan is for my version of spaghetti Bolognese...using kangaroo mince and with more vegetables than is traditional.

However, given that is barely past lunchtime , I may be getting too far ahead of myself...

As for a wok...if you can’t use a proper fully round bottomed steel with wood handled ultra cheap wok from the Chinese supermarket or the All Foods store then this is what we use...

Catalan chicken chorizo. I’m intrigued. I associate Catalan dishes with seafood, and chorizo with gas station burritos.

I cleaned the jets and emulsion tubes on my bike out using my mouth the other day. It was delicious.

As a full time house...manager?...it’s my job to think about what’s for dinner! Must admit though that my ambition and imagination often fail the practical application of actual skill in this realm.

That said though... Spaghetti Kanganese turned out to be very fine...
